Parataniwha
Groundcovering herbaceous plant with large bronze-green leaves with pink tonings. Loves to grow in moist to wet soils and performs well in quite heavily shaded areas where it is often difficult to establish plants. Effective when planted alongside water. Can be damaged by heavy frosts when planted in the open. Also referred to as NZ begonia
