Rimu/Red Pine
The Rimu is a slow growing tree taking hundreds of years to reach its potential height. Because of this it is considered suitable for larger gardens. The juvenile form, with its drooping pyramidal shape, persists for many years and is very attractive. Prefers rich moist soil. Young plants do best with some shelter. An excellent timber tree.
